Striking Cambodia garment workers clash with police
Police in riot gear have clashed with garment factory workers on strike in the Cambodian capital, Phnom Penh. Some of the workers, who were striking over the suspension of a union official, say police used electric batons on them. The Free Trade Union said some of its members were injured in the scuffles - and that laws guaranteeing the right to industrial action were broken.

Australia's Oz Minerals finds gold in Cambodia
Reuters: Australian miner OZ Minerals Ltd has discovered 8.1 million tonnes of ore in rural Cambodia it believes can produce 605,000 ounces of gold, OZ and energy officials said on Monday.
